ELANCHEZIYAN
Elancheziyan (1984, Mayiladuthurai, Tamil Nadu) completed his BFA in Painting from College of Fine Arts in Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu and MFA in Painting from College of Art in New Delhi. He has received several accolades such as First Prize VA-VO 2011 International Expo & Conference on Renewable Energy, State Award in Tamil Nadu and South Zone Gold medal for Painting from Prafulla Dhanukar Art Foundation. He has partaken in several workshops, art camps, residency programmes and group shows across India. He created illustrations for the book “One Hundred Prisoners and a Light Bulb” by Van Ditmarsch and was part of the team of artists who recorded and re traced the lost parts of the ancient Chola paintings at the Big Temple Tanjore for the book “Chola period Paintings” published by the Tanjore Tamil University and Central archeological survey of India. His works are in collection with Reserve Bank of India Art Competition.
