Loknath Pradhan (b.1987, Orissa) graduated in BFA from Utkal University of Culture, Bhubaneswar and MFA in Printmaking from Delhi College of Art. He is recipient of several Awards including 57th National Award by Lalit Kala Akademi in 2016. Other awards and scholarships include Prafulla Dhankar Award, IFACS Award, Kala Sakshi Award, Awarded by NDMC, Jaipur Chitra Kala Academy Award, Awarded by Royal Academy, Gulbarga, Karnataka, National Awardee by S.C.Z.C.C. Nagpur and College Awards in B.K. College of Art & Crafts. Scholarships include the Junior Fellowship (Ministry of Culture HRD), MFA scholarship and the Research Grand Scholarship Lalit Kala Academy. He has participated in numerous workshops, residencies and art camps. His works have been collected widely and are found in private homes and offices in Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru. He is currently pursuing his PhD from China Academy of Art, Hangzhou, China for which he has received a scholarship from the Ministry of Human Resources.
