Mahavir Wadhwana, Born in 1994 in Surendranagar, Gujarat, India. He has completed his BVA and MVA with a specialisation in painting from MS University; Baroda received a gold medal in his master’s; and he has received the Jayram Patel Scholarship Award in 2018. Besides shows, he has been part of numerous workshops and residencies, including Arts4All’s Sonalika Residency in Delhi and Space Studio Baroda, and has been part of residencies with local artisans exploring and experimenting with pigments and fabric materials to use in his works.

Mahavir Wadhwana’s work appreciates and celebrates the intricate details of struggling-class life and serendipitous insights into the social paradigm.
