Navanshu Kumar, Born in 1995 in Bhilai, Chattisgarh. Navanshu has completed his BVA and MVA in painting from IKSV Khairagarh, Chhattisgarh. He is the recipient of many awards and scholarships, including the Ministry of Culture Scholarship for Young Artists in Painting (2017), the Prafulla Dhanukar State Award (2017), and more. Apart from this, he has been part of the Student Biennale in Kochi (2018).

Navanshu artworks are treated as allegories that are made from stories derived from different characters from different walks of life.

He lives and works in Chhattisgarh.
