Prasad S. Mestri, Dahanu, 1996 has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in painting from the Sir J. J. School of Art, Mumbai. Prasad is a recipient of the Hyundai Art for Hope Grant 2023, Emerging Palette 2022 at Shrishti Art Gallery in Hyderabad, the Kochi Biennale 2023, and many more national awards.

Painting and installation are the ways in which he expresses himself. Prasad comes from the tribal area and is inspired by his love for tribal culture and nature.
