Lokanath Pradhan

Lokanath Pradhan (b. 1987, Orissa) is a distinguished contemporary artist  a PhD from the China Academy of Art, Hangzhou. He holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Printmaking from the Delhi College of Art and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from Utkal University of Culture, Bhubaneswar. Pradhan has received several prestigious awards, including the 57th National Award from Lalit Kala Akademi (2016). His accolades also include the Prafulla Dahanukar Award, IFACS Award, Kala Sakshi Award, and awards from institutions such as NDMC, Jaipur Chitra Kala Academy, and the Royal Academy in Gulbarga, Karnataka. He has been honoured with the National Award by the S.C.Z.C.C. Nagpur and numerous college awards from B.K. College of Art & Crafts.

Pradhan’s achievements are further recognized through scholarships such as the Junior Fellowship from the Ministry of Culture, HRD, the MFA Scholarship, and the Research Grant Scholarship from Lalit Kala Akademi. He has actively participated in numerous workshops, residencies, and art camps. His works are part of private collections in major cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru.
